Though not familiar with cattle, horses, or oil, I was born and raised in Calgary and continue to call it my home. Originally I intended to fight crime for a living, but then discovered an innate talent to operate a camera. After suffering a broken hand and a black eye, I discovered the same abilities to be useless against criminals. The reasons behind this failure baffle me to this day. Intending to put my skills to better use, I enrolled in the Alberta College of Art and Design to earn a Bachelor of Design in Photography. After graduating in 2008, I have excitedly pursued commercial photography, and bored with doing nothing on the weekends, took a job teaching photography in ACAD’s Extended Studies program. In addition, I can make an amazing grilled cheese sandwich, take care of your kittens while you’re away, and kill that spider that’s been harassing you for days.
